One day after McRae's death in the air crash, a helicopter operated by Prodrive's chief David Richards was wrecked. He and his wife were coming back from the Belgium Grand prix.
The helicopter has failed on a field and then has taken fire. Fortunately, David and his wife could get out of there by themselves. Now they are shocked with the happened, but, thank God, they are alive and healthy.
"David and Colin were the best friends. Everything that happened with them is an improbable concurrence..." - a representative Prodrive has told.
Richards has made a decision to depart from Belgium earlier, than it was planned, in connection with Colin McRae's loss.
